She was predeceased by: her son Brett Frederick (Marianne); and her brother Dave Scheidmantel. She is survived by: her children, Paul Frederick (Kim) and Kristin Frederick; her grandchildren, Joshua Frederick (Mallory), Mallory Bittinger (Adam), Allison Frederick, Megan Builder (Lawson), Cole Frederick, Sadie Signorella (Ralph), Lidia Signorella and Jacob Signorella; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Samuel Bittinger and Lucie Frederick; and her brothers, Bradley Scheidmantel (Andrea) and Dennis Scheidmantel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lynn's name to Reach Out and Read, the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania or the DePaul School for Hearing and Speech.
