He is survived by: his wife Cynthia H. Tabor; his parents, William Tabor and Beverly Tabor of Macungie, PA; his sons, William Joseph Tabor, Robert Evan Tabor and George Frederick Tabor; his sister Kristin McMahon (Thomas) of Coopersburg, PA; his siblings-in-law, Thomas McMahon, Jeffery and Patricia Wolverton of Charlotte, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Mitch, Caroline Wolverton, David, Sarah and Lauren McMahon.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to The Pittsburgh Foundation or The Angels Among Us 5K Walk of Hope at the Preston Robert Tish Brain Cancer Center at the Duke Cancer Institute.
