He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William J. Barber and Dorothy A. Barber (Dzurovcin) of North Wilkes; his wife Tammy L. Mills; his brother James Barber; his nephew Caleb William Barber; his siblings, Miss Therese M. Barber and Stephen M. Barber (Judy) of Kingston; and also, Shayne W. Barber (Emily), Kennedy of Camp Hill, PA and Rebecca Moon (Steve) of Bear Creek.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the John V. Morris Family Funeral Home Inc. (625 N Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
