He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Bartikowsky; his significant other Anna Cervenak; and his siblings, Leonard Bartikowsky (Bart) and Jane Karnofsky (Bartikowsky). He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marilyn Bartikowsky; his nieces, Nancy Palumbo (Jeff) of Little Silver, NJ, Jill Bartikowsky of Houston, TX and Ellen Levithan (Scott) of Lansdale, PA; and also, Meg Cervenak Brown (Derek) and John Cervenak Jr. (Nancy). He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Max Bartikowsky Endowment at either Temple Israel, 613 SJ Strauss Ln, Kingston, PA 18704 or the Jewish Community Center, 613 SJ Strauss Ln, Kingston, PA 18704, two organizations that have been an important part of Max's life.
