She was predeceased by: her parents, Constantine Bardoutsos (Dino) and Polyxeni Bardoutsos (Jenny). She is survived by: her significant other Cheryl Lewis; her pet Sidney; her granddaughter Rory; her husband Philip Mertz PhD; her son Alexander Mertz; her brother Antonios Bardoutsos (Mary Teresa) of San Fransisco; and her sons, Nicholas and Michael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
