He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramona Therese (Music) and Bernard Hugh McCormick; and his siblings, Bernard McCormick Jr., Robert McCormick and Marie Therese McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen McCormick (O'Connor); his children, Ellen McCormick, Connor McCormick (Rachel), Sean McCormick (Alicia) and Maura Waskevich (Tom); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Ella, Ramona, Seamus and Eloise. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and grandnephews/nieces.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugh B. Hughes Funeral Home (1044 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort, PA 18704). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the King's College Chapel of Christ (29 W North St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust; to Villanova University - School of Business or King's College.
