It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Check of Forty Fort, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Peters; his daughter Marie Check; his parents, John Check and Ellen Check; his brother David Check (Christine); his stepdaughter Kayleigh Edwards (Ken); his mother-in-law Margaret Peters; his sister-in-law Lori Monka (David); his nephew Logan; his uncles, Larry Check and Ray Horensky; his aunt Emma Horensky; and his close friends, Joe LaFratte and Brad Adams. He is also survived by numerous cousins, niece, nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Dan's name to the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation or the National Blood Clot Alliance.
