He was predeceased by: his parents, George Guenther and Helen Guenther; and his wife Sally Guenther (Oldroyd). He is survived by: his son James Jr. Barbara (Andrea); his grandchildren, Ian Guenther, Jessica Brofft (Chris), Brian Baxter, Heather and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Lily and Logan Brofft; and his brother Wayne Guenther of Colorado.
