He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy A. Hays and Helen Hays (Suders); and his children, William D. Hays and Donna Malone Keefer (Hays). He is survived by: his wife Anna Maye Hays (Clark); his son Percy E. "Ed" Hays (Peggy); his granddaughters, Penny Eader (Cheyenne), Melissa Leidy (Kevin), Carey Ebersole (Dan) and Destinee Frisky (Brett); his stepgranddaughter Sabrina Wiley (Rick); his great grandchildren, Tiffany Knight (Mark), Chelsie McCulloch (Cody), Gracie, Callie Ebersole, Taylor and Breanna Leidy; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Lily and Lydia Wiley; his great grandchild Cheyenne Eader, Jr.; his great great grandchildren, Madison Eader, Adam Knight, Allison, Blain and Anna McCulloch; and his sister Gloria Hawk (Barrie).
