With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald E. Varner of Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania, born in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2022 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald E. Varner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowery Varner and Dorothy Varner (Perry); his former wife Karen Piper; his grandchild Ozwald Harrison Steck; and his siblings, Gene Varner, James Varner, Jennie Carbaugh, Sally Wilson and Mary Neil.

He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Jody, Kathy Varner, Susan, Joshua, Andrew, Roxann and Rosella White; his brother Lowery; and his family, Charlotte, Lee Berger and Gerald. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

They brought a pickup truck load of items to be donated to those in need people they had never met and would likely never see again.
