Daryl E. Parson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daryl E. Parson of Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder J. Parson and Elsie E. Parson (Gipe); and his siblings, Matilda Gray, LaRue Crouse (Dave), Dorothy Hockenberry (Clair) and Shelby Neil.
He is survived by: his close friend Donna Barton; his daughters, Tangela Gibbons (Terry) and Denise Shatzer (Andy); his grandchildren, Austen Shatzer, Emma Hissong (Heath), Matt Mumper (Mary-Kate) and Rachel Mumper; his brother Chris Parson (Deb); and his brother-in-law Raymond Neil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Freedom Lighthouse Ministries (96 Path Valley Rd, Fort Loudon, PA 17224).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Daryl's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Path Valley Stag Club/Gospel Music Friday Nights.
