In the sacred silence of farewell, Alma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie M. Chilcote and McMullen; her husband William R. Helmuth; and her stepdaughter Jeannie Brenner. She is survived by: her children, William C. Helmuth of Chambersburg and Diane Baxter of Chambersburg. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fries Funeral Home Inc. (47 N Park Ave, Mercersburg, PA 17236). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Ms. Helmuth may be made to the Humane Society, 5051 Letterkenny Road West OR the American Heart Association, 417 Phoenix Drive #A, both of Chambersburg, PA.
