With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ruth Merring of Forks Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ott and Gladys Ott. She is survived by: her sons, Terry Strunk (Barbara) of Texas and Dennis Strunk of Bangor; and her stepchildren, Paul Merring (Debbie), David Merring of Belvidere, NJ and Susan Marsh of Tatamy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
