He is survived by: his wife Constance "Connie" Waltman Buchanan; his children, Michael Buchanan (Amy) of Davenport, IA and Katherine Bower (Rich) of Berkeley Heights, NJ; his grandchildren, Isabel, Connor Buchanan, Daniel and Emily Bower; and his siblings, Richard Buchanan, Margaret Zeman and Jayne Krusman.
