He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Vakiener and Idel Vakiener (Holzman); his son Brian; and his sister Janet Hulse. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce (Vicki) of Hartland, VT and Craig (Gretchen) of Nazareth, PA; his daughter-in-law Beth of Rocky Hill, CT; his brother Alan (Millie) of Lake Wales, FL.; and his grandchildren, Meagan (Mark), Timothy, Connor, Scott and Logan.
