He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Yanchitis and Beatrice Yanchitis (Thomas); his son Paul Yanchitis; his daughter-in-law Karen Yanchitis; and his sister Barbara Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Berneski Yanchitis; his children, Arthur Yanchitis (Jennifer), Mary Ellen Prince (Dave), Judith Booths (Kurt) and Carol Heikkila (Mike) of Vestal, NY; his grandchildren, Lisa, Jackie, Brian, Megan, Sara, Brittney, Kevin, Patrick, Paul, Kim and Katrina; and his daughters, Pamela and Cathy. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
