It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delton R. Ion of Ford Cliff, Pennsylvania, born in Cadogan, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ion and Ida Ion (Dolby); his wife Evelyn M. Ion; his son Terry Ion; and his siblings, Maebelle Hartman, Thelma Petras, Goldie, Roy, John, Willford, George, Robert and Dean Ion.
He is survived by: his sons, Delton Ion (Melinda) of Ford City, James Ion (Sally Stevens) of Ford Cliff, Christopher Ion (Pamela) of Hagerstown, MD and Thomas Ion (Diana) of Leechburg; and his half-sister Teresa Byrd of Silver City, NM.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
