Virginia Louise Dawson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, at the age of 93, Virginia Louise Dawson of Ford City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Walker and Florence Walker (Stitt); her husband Albert W. Dawson, Jr.; and her siblings, Richard, Melvin and Phyllis Swank.
She is survived by: her sons, Blair Dawson (Mary Jane) of Kittanning, Mark Dawson of Cranberry Township and Jerry Dawson (Angie) of Austin Texas; her grandsons, Glen Dawson of Seattle Washington and Sam Dawson (Tara) of Austin Texas; her siblings, Garnet Ludwick (Thomas) of Ford City and Roger Walker (Gloria) of Freeport; and her sister-in-law Karol Walker of Leechburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Service (1032 4th Ave, Ford City, PA 16226). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Church of Ford City, 410 10th Street, Ford City, PA 16226.
