He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gibson and Marjorie Gibson (Crawford); and his siblings, Thomas Gibson and Joanne Uplinger. He is survived by: his children, Salina Bracken (William) of Ford City, Samuel Charles Gibson, II of Ford City and Erin Marie Welch of Murrysville; his significant other Pam Norris of Kittanning; his sisters, Rose Hackett of Ford City and Susan Stivason of Ford City; and his friend Calvin Norris of Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
