We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2023, at the age of 76, James A. Minich of Ford City, Pennsylvania, born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Laverne and Evelyn Elsie Minich (Snyder); and his siblings, Dennis Minnich, Charles Minich and Patricia Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Shaffer Minich (Beck); his children, Daniel C. Shaffer (Cindy) of Shelocta, Craig W. Minich (Penny) of Ford City and Toni A. Grafton (Deron) of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Joshua Shaffer of Baltimore, MD, Benjamin Shaffer (Jaden) of Indiana, PA, Derek Grafton of Freeport, Jaysa Grafton of Howell, MI, Kylie Grafton of Kittanning, Kendra Fulmer of Ford City and June; his siblings, Michael Minich (Sue) of Lancaster, Joyce Pavetti (Keith) of Penrose, CO, Carol Byrne (Jack) of St. Augustine, FL and Tammy Tarosky (Daniel) of Pittsburgh; and his sister-in-law Linda Minnich of Dewittville, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim had a great love of all sports, in his memory, memorial contributions may be made to assist youth with membership fees to the Armstrong Indoor Athletics, 138 S. Grant Ave., Kittanning, PA 16201.
