It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iva Jane (Boyer) Geidel of Ford City, Pennsylvania, born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen K. Boyer and Edna M. Boyer (Yount); her husband Purn E. Geidel; her son Daniel M. Geidel; and her siblings, Lorna G. McNutt and James W. Boyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Zoe Akhtar (Munawwar) of Mt. Lebanon, PA; her granddaughter Elizabeth L. Banks (Keith) of Mt. Lebanon, PA; her great grandchild Tyler Keith Banks; her brother Larry O. Boyer (Donna) of Decatur, IL; and her cousin Virginia Bruce of Indiana, PA.
