He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Heilman and Beulah Heilman; and his grandparents, Herman C. and Jennie Mae Heilman (Wyant). He is survived by: his children, Calvin Heilman of Rural Valley, Steven Heilman (Jamie) of Turtle Creek and Jennie Mae Heilman of Ford City; his brother Samuel Heilman of Ford City; his grandsons, Dylan, Alex and Lucas; his great grandchild Maverick; and the mother of his children Mary Johns Himes of Brockway.
