He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Meteney and Lavania Porter Meteney; his wife Mildred L. Goodyear Meteney; his sisters, Evelyn McFerren and Katherine Sherin; and his brothers-in-law, Robert McFerren, Joe Davis and Robert Freshcorn.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Meteney of Austintown, OH, Agnes Meteney of Fombell, James Meteney of Fombell and David Meteney of Charlotte, NC; and his sister Patricia Davis of Aliquippa. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
