He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Swantek and Alice Galinis Swantek; his brother Edward M. Swantek; and also Eddie Swantek, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Robertson Swantek; his sisters, Maggie Baptie (Jeff) and Sue Giddings (Curt); and his mother-in-law Barbara Robertson. He is also survived by four nephews and three nieces.
