He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Brooks and Anne Mulligan Brooks; and his child Dee Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Smith Brooks; his children, Shannon (John Roche) and Robert Jr. (Trish Brooks); his grandchildren, Steven, Sierra Lythgoe, Carly, Jon O'Neill, Chester, Anne Marie O'Neill, Ashley, Carl Forrest, Shawn Malin Jr. and Ronnie Winklevoss Jr.; his siblings, Richard and Gerry Brooks; and his siblings-in-law, Mike and Jane Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
