He is survived by: his granddaughter Melissa Noelle Kaley; his wife Margaret Scheib (Ambler); his children, Margaret "Peggy" Miersch (Roger), Patricia Alstrom (Robert) and Louis A. Scheib IV (Roseann Perry); his grandchildren, Steve Miersch (Megan Carney), David Miersch (Ashley) and Sarah Alstrom; and his nieces, Judith Konowal (Steve) and Donna Bellace (Tony).
