He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Gould Davis; his son John T. Davis; and his parents, John T. Davis and Zola Goodwin Davis. He is survived by: his children, Dottie Davis, George E. Davis, Linda Davis, Theresa Davis and Regina Davis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
