He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Mae Winkelman; his brother Michael L. Winkelman; his brother-in-law Fred Dzikus, Sr. (Whitey); and his parents, William Winkelman and Ruth Winkelman.
He is survived by: his son Kurt Winkelman (Mariann); his granddaughter Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Winkelman and Mary Lou Dzikus. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews, 15 grand-nieces and nephews, and many beloved cousins.
