He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Howe (Gladhill) and Russell Howe Sr.; his wife Nora Howe (Feeley); his son Robert E. Howe Jr.; his grandson Michael B. Howe Jr.; his great grandchild Joshua M. Thomas Jr.; and his siblings, Ann English Howe, Mary Knight, Betty Sweeney, Dorothy Gavetti, Russell Howe Jr., Richard Howe and Donald Howe.
He is survived by: his son Michael B. Howe Sr. (Colleen); his grandchildren, Liza Howe, Megan Sammons (Jeff), Tressa Howe (Hector Bedolla) and Robert E Howe III; his great grandchildren, Michael, Josiah, Lincoln, Erin, Alina, Camila and Brianna; his daughter-in-law Sharon Howe; his brother Kenneth Howe (Pat); his sister-in-law Dolores Derrickson; his nephew Jack Knight (Elaine); and his niece Nora Clement (John). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
