He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivar Nyhus and Louisa Nyhus; his wife Sara E. "Betty" Nyhus; and his brother Ray. He is survived by: his children, Patricia (Denis), Dale (Nancy), Michael (Diane) and Kristine (Stan); and his grandson Ian. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
