George L. Horn Obituary
With great sadness we announce the passing of George L. Horn, 68, of Folcroft, PA. George passed away peacefully surrounded by his family as was his wish after fighting a courageous battle with colon cancer. He faced each obstacle during this course with such an optimism and never gave up. He was not a man of many words but had an enormous heart.
George was a truck driver for 30 years before an accident sidelined him to disability. He was always there for family and friends at the drop of a dime.
He is terribly missed and survived by his wife of 44 years, Denyse, his beloved children, Angel (Ron) Eells, Karen (Bryan) Flood, and George (Lisa) Horn. Also his 5 grandchildren, Ronald Eells, Alexa Eells, Brooke Hunter, Ryan Horn and Bryleigh Flood and great-grandson Reece Rosenblatt.
Also survived by his 11 brothers and sisters, Jim Horn, Jack Horn, Bill Horn, Patsy Green, Margaret Teporelli, Marie Howarth, Susan Hewlett, Maureen Huckel, Kate Thomas, Eleanor Ranieri and Lori Taylor and many many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, James and Margaret Horn. Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation Friday, July 7th 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the D'Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home 908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086. Inurnment Private.
