She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rhoda and Grace Rhoda. She is survived by: her husband John W. Kirst; her sons, Bruce Kirst and John Rhoda Kirst; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Jennifer; and her great grandchild Owen.

She was the Head of the Jaycettes of the Jr. Chamber of Commerce in Whitemarsh Township and a volunteer for numerous charity organizations.
