He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Mary J. Hunt (Lonsway); and his siblings, William, Thomas Hunt and Mary Jean Bauman.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Carol Hunt (Sauer); his sons, John Mark Hunt (Tara) of Phoenix, AZ and William Bradford Hunt (Emily) of Phoenixville, PA; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Maddie and Presley.
