With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Holt Kafes of Flourtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2022. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Holt Kafes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William George Kafes and Gena Bird Kafes; and his brother Thomas Richard Kafes. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Mary Steck Kafes; his children, Georgena Steck Kafes Kelly (Patrick Kelly) of Yardley, PA and William Welty Kafes (Bridget Yannes Kafes) of Riverton, NJ; his grandsons, Jackson Holt Kelly and Owen Pierce Kelly; and his brothers, William Owen Kafes (Mary) of Williamsburg, VA and Frederick Wilson Kafes (Mary) of Westmont, NJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the Kafes family appreciates donations in John's memory to Pennsylvania Parks and Forest Foundation. Pennsylvania Parks & Forests Foundation.
