He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Ingrid Daemmrich; his friend Dr. Daemmrich; his parents, Gertrud Daemmrich and Arthur Daemmrich; his daughters, Ingrid Daemmrich and JoAnna Daemmrich of Annapolis; his son-in-law David Loughlin; his son Dr. Arthur Daemmrich of Silver Spring; his wife Saiping Tso; and his grandchildren, Sophia Loughlin, Drew Loughlin, Theo Loughlin, JiLan Daemmrich, Dr. Stephanie, Luttitz and Constantin.
