We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2021, at the age of 61, Carla Janes of Flinton, Pennsylvania, born in Port Lavaca, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil F. Bassett and Bertie L. Bassett (Wiley); and her sister Sheila A. Webel. She is survived by: her husband David C. Janes; her friends, Mary Kay and Pampered Chef; her children, Sarah H. Hoffman of Harrisburg, Katie B. Schuster (Brandon) of Pittsburgh, Bridget A. Bentley (Matt) of Hickory Corners, MI, Matthew D. Janes (Lissa) of Harrisburg, Kathryn E. Kugler (Jason) of Annville and Karen D. Stauffer (Brad) of Annville; and her grandchildren, Kylie Sites, Karlie Kramer, Alex Schuster, AJ Schuster, Darius Schuster, Tyler Berg (Hailey), Emily Johns (Jenna), Sarah Calomeni (Ryan), Matthew Bentley II, Mwila Nonde (Priscilla), Noah Janes, Rebekah Janes, Connor Janes, Finn Janes, Collin Janes, Caitlin Nishikawa and Abigail Stauffer. She is also survived by extended family and caring friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 (in compliance with COVID-19 regulations) at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078, 717-838-9211, with Pastor Jason J. Seaman officiating.
