He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur R. Borrell and Helen M. Borrell (Reinert); his children, David Borrell and Lynn King (Borrell); and his grandson J. D. Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Schoedler); his children, Daniel Borrell (Veronica Borrell) of Edmond, OK, Gale Hunt, Carol Alexander (Barry Alexander) of Gilbert, AZ, Cynthia Smith of Frederick, OK, Michael Rauenzahn (Jayne Rauenzahn) and Cathy Rauenzahn; his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Leila, Angela, Jordan, Jasmine, Jimmy, Sarah, Tyler, Jason, Carter, Avery, Christian, Jenna and Jensen; and his siblings, Arthur Borrell, Dorothy Miller, Joan Bailey and Miriam Rauenzahn. He is also survived by his 15 great-grandchildren.
