We bid farewell to Richard E. Leiby of Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 23, 2025 at the age of 72. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin H. Leiby and Joyce L. Leiby (Dietrich); and his grandson Dayton Leiby. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Rebecca J. Leiby of Sacramento, CA, Sarah A. James (Derek E. James) and Darian J. Leiby; his close friends, James B. Kelly and Dakotah T. Famalaro of Bristol, PA.; his grandchildren, Dalton Leiby, Seth James, Evelyn James, Nevaeh Feliciano and Rayne Kotsch; his sister Barbara Keim (Glenn Keim); and his favorite furry girl Maggie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory (14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the Hamburg Area Sports Booster Club, payable to HASBC, 1187 Main St., Shoemakersville, PA 19555.
