He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Gieringer (Hoyer); his grandchildren, Joshua (Caitlyn Gieringer) and Kathryn Gieringer; and his close friends, Jason Zimpleman, David Gieringer, Nicholas Drey, Alysha (Dillon Jauch), Jessica Gieringer, Macy Drey, Carly Gieringer, Patrick Gieringer, Levi Gieringer and Christian Gieringer.
He was a 25-year member of Masonic Chandler Lodge 227, West Reading, where he was a past board of directors of the Masonic Foundation.
