She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Smolensky and Catherine Smolensky (Heineke); her husband Andrew F. Ackerman; and her sons, Andrew C. Ackerman and Glenn S. Ackerman.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen A. Malizia (Neil A. Malizia); her grandchildren, Christopher, Kasey, Kyle, Courtney, Nicole, Katlyn, Brandon, Mya, Lauren and Neil Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Laura, Noah, Megan, Erin, Sarp, Demet, Alexander, Cooper, Ryleigh, Jacob, Olivia, Hudson, Logan and Remi Lucille.
