She was predeceased by: her grandson Brendan Bovard. She is survived by: her spouse Venald W. Bovard Jr. of Peckville; her sons, Richard Bovard (Kathleen), Sykesville Maryland, David Bovard (Dawn), Downingtown, James Bovard (Kathleen) and Columbia; her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Kate, Grace, Patrick and Emily; her sister Margaret Anderson Bowers; and her brother-in-law Robert Bowers of Houston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Scranton Area Community Foundation, c/o The Jeanne Anderson Bovard Fund.
