With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George E. Shaffer of Fisher, Pennsylvania, born in Clarion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As George departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Shaffer and Marian Saler Shaffer; and his sister Betty Evonne Shaffer McKisson. He is survived by: his children, Rob, Shaun and Liz; and his nephew Andy McKisson of Fisher.
