He was predeceased by : his parents, John Chicora and Lulu Jane Woods Chicora. He is survived by : his stepdaughters, Carrie L. Karolcik (Thomas) of Finleyville, PA and Lisa Hollingsworth of Finleyville, PA; his children, Michael Chicora (Wendy) of Pittsburgh, PA, Ted Chicora of California, Michelle Ruffalo of Arizona and Sandy Ann Clarey of California; and his wife Sonia Watsula Chicora.
