He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex P. Hagins and Marian E. Hagins (Stern). He is survived by: his brother Grey L. Hagins; his daughter Susan Shaffer (Hagins); his brother Dennis Hagins (Irene Hagins) of Keyser Falls, ME; his daughter Amy Jo Kopriva (Patrick Kopriva) of Delmont, PA; his sons-in-law, James S. Ballow of Ferndale and Phillip M. Shaffer of Wagoner, OK; his grandchildren, Danielle Kendig (Jon Kendig) of Westmont, Andrew Shaffer, Jessica Shaffer (Hoffman), Lakenheath England, Elizabeth Ballow and Anthony Ballow of Ferndale; and his great grandchildren, Zane Kendig, Mackenzie Kendig and Lillian Kendig of Westmont. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 145 Ohio St. Johnstown, PA, 15902.
