He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Joseph Shuler and Margaret Leona Walker Shuler; and his former wife Marilyn June Foertsch Shuler. He is survived by: his children, Carl R. Shuler, Jr. of Fenelton, John J. Shuler (Christine O'Neil) of Fenelton, Raymond R. Nye of Fenelton, Carol A. Shuler Wagner (Edward) of Fenelton and Adele A. Crawford (Adam) of Chicora; his siblings, George J. Shuler (Mary Alice) of Butler and Nancy Shuler Roach (Kenneth) of Butler; his grandchildren, Jake Shuler (Jessica), Amanda Faith (Johnathan), Katelen Shuler, Christopher, Chase, Johanna Shuler, Autumn and Anna June Crawford; his great grandchildren, Grace and Caden Shuler; his wife Rose Marie Dunkle Shuler; and his brother Raymond Shuler.
