He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard S. Sr. Gorrell and Naomi Gorrell (Irwin); his brother Howard S. Gorrell Jr.; and his pet Daisy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane (Smithson); his children, Barbara A. Baker, Aaron C. Gorrell (Shelley Streett) and Kaitlyn M. Miller (Robert); his grandsons, Matthew and Zachariah Baker; and his sister Dr. Lenita N. Gorrell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
