He was predeceased by: his wife Linda J. Riale (Flinchbaugh); his parents, John Russel and Evelyn Riale (Gemmill); and his brother William Riale. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca S. Dorsey (Jeffrey) of Stewartstown and Andrew J. Riale (Beth) of Felton; his grandchildren, Lily K. Martin (Alex) of Harrisburg, Daniel J. Riale of Felton, Grace E. Dorsey of Stewartstown, Ethan R. Dorsey of Stewartstown and Claire E. Dorsey of Stewartstown; his sister Linda Leiphart (Kenny) of Brogue; and his sister-in-law Barbara Riale of York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be offered to the New Hope Presbyterian Church Building Fund, PO Box 146, Brogue, PA 17309.
