He was predeceased by: his wife Dolly A. (Shaub); his parents, Dawson Emig and Grace V. Emig (Feeser); his son Kevin E. Emig; his grandson Mason Emig; his brothers, Raymond and Ervin; and his half-brother Dawson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah A. Routson (late Barry) of Hanover, Carol A. Argento of York and Karen Vance (Taylor) of California; his sister Shirley V. Frey (late Robert) of York; and his cousin Joyce E. Nevers (Ashley) of Connecticut. He is also survived by 11 granchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
