He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Strayer and Theda A. Taylor (Rupp); and his brother Wade Strayer. He is survived by: his son Josh Berkheimer (Alyssa); his siblings, Troy Strayer (Stephanie) and Delora Smith (Dave); his grandchildren, Jason, Roman and Cash Berkheimer; and his year old boxers, Cooper, Michael Davis and Nicole Kibler. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
