It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred A. Weikert (Fayetteville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 29, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Newman and Alma Sowers Newman; and her husband Robert W. Weikert, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey L. Weikert (Lita) of Orrtanna, PA, Janie Weikert Rentsel (Charlie) of Fairfield, PA, Roberta Weikert Brown of Gosport, IN, Robert W. Weikert, Jr. (Sally) of Gettysburg, PA, Howard L. Weikert (Tammy) of Fairfield, PA, Cindy Weikert Kuykendall (Terry), Betsy Weikert Gulden (Mike) of Gettysburg, PA and Todd Weikert, Sr. (Laurie) of Orrtanna, PA; and her siblings, Herbert Newman of Biglerville, PA and Martha Nary of York, PA.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Fairfield Fire Company and Vigilent Hose Company.
